Stospeed VG installed on Jabiru

I fitted Stolspeed VGs to my Jabiru J170C. I first fitted them to the wing and found a significant reduction in my stall speed. However, the tail appeared to be "heavy" and almost stalling when landing, so I fitted them to the underside of the horizontal stabiliser. The difference was amazing, with smooth glides on landing. My stall speed was reduced by 5 knots, with my landing and takeoff distances also reduced by 100 m.

I am just adding a couple of lines on the merits of VGs on the Jabiru wing.
The placement of mine on the J200 (short wing) are in front of the ailerons, back from the leading edge, and on the rear of the aircraft under the leading edge of the horizontal rear stabiliser. End results: over the fence at 50–55 knots light load and 55–60 loaded, with a lot more crisp response on aileron control and a little higher AOA on touch down with VGs under the tail feathers.
The best thing I have put on the plane!
